This is great. I have some friends who keep chickens off of Wilberham Road and even though they are good stewards and asked their neighbors beforehand, they are constantly worried that the city will make them give up the hens. I will forward the petition.
I am sorry to not be able to sign this, since I don’t live in Springfield. Is it also the case that families raising their own chickens could limit the spread of illness among the animals?
I hope this petition meets with success.
